2003 MudMarch Photos
Sunday photos - a.m.
A cold morning indeed. No frost on the ground, but wet feet and wet uniforms from the hail storm the day before mad for a cold night. Even spooning didn't help much. Dry socks were worth substantially more than their dry weight.
Tiny standing. Charles Mathis cooking his breakfast.
Not sure who's huddled in the shelter.
Another view of the shelter. I took several photos of the shelter because I was impressed with the job done by the men. Charles Mathis proved to be a skilled engineer. He designed the Friday encampment and created the half under which I slept Saturday night.
